Under a blue sky, a female figure stands in harmony with an ancient tree, vulnerable yet sturdy and unyielding. The artwork was inspired by an incident at Sequoia National Park when the artist observed someone trespassing over a marked fence to capture a photograph. The trespass posed a threat to the roots of the tree and the surrounding ecosystems. In response, the artwork encourages others to adopt a profound sense of respect for the natural world. It serves as a powerful call to embrace equality and foster reverence for our living planet.
